So it seems the best way would be to talk to a workshop, pay them the money to get the car, mod it then deliver it modded? The stock R36 isnt fast enough for the customer I know but they quiet like it and they cant include the modifications in their finance unless they occur as a total price of sale.
Seeing as you've never brought a car perhaps refer to my previous post. The dealer can pay the shop that's doing the work and the dealer is paid $R36 price + $extra work as one lump sum.

I did a similar thing with the RNS 510 and paint protection and financed it and the dealer in my case EFT'd the payment to me and I paid the two companies direct.

Get the dealer he buys the car from to coordinate all the work. Dealer pays for the work, new owner makes one payment to the dealer.

The dealer would probably want near the full amount paid before the work is done though as they're going to have a huge risk. If he changes his mind, they then have a car with a whole lot of extra expense they have to re-coup and most likely nobody to sell it to.

When I got mine, i wanted the tint done buy a different company to what the dealer used. The lease company cut me a seperate cheque for the tinter.

I think you might be misunderstanding the finance requirements. What they usually need is a total finance price. If you want aftermarket wheels, swaybars, or other accessories you need to organise them up front rather than a month after you bought the car.

If the car is on a fully maintained lease you can get replacement parts or service items at a later date. Depending on how liberal the lease company is, this might include ECU reflash (tune), aftermarket suspension, etc.
