Buying ex-rental vehicle (Europcar)

As I worked for a rental company, let me tell you we thrash the cars to bits......DO NOT BUY AN EX-RENTAL please!!

How bad can it be?
I see MY14.5 model is up for sale for a reasonable price... What's the catch do you recon?
I called VW Australia and they advised me that the warranty is going to be transferred onto my name regardless of the previous owner even if it was Europcar.

I'd suggest the stamp in the service book is the only attention to servicing the car has ever seen.
