    Bumper repair

    I'm getting my rear bumper repair. The car has park assist 2 sensors. When they fix it do they need to recode anything?

    As long they refit the sensors properly then no. Special coding needs to be done on things like side assist, front assist, lane assist but parking sensors are straight forward.

    The only way they can stuff up the sensors is by not plugging them back in.
    Or (I've only seen this once) putting too much paint on them, if they are being painted
