Bumper protector on the Passat wagon

Has anyone bought/fitted the bumper protector on the Passat wagon? I'm considering it but would like a real world picture of it and also feedback about it before shelling out $200.00 odd dollars for it

I have a 'duco scratch' clear plastic film protecting my bumpers http://www.ducoscratch.com.au/clear_car_bra.asp. It is hardly noticeable and works well. Although there are standard templates for the R36, it can also be custom made to your requirements with the cost related to the amount of film. To give you an idea of cost - the rear bumper sill was about $100, and you can spend about $1.5k to cover most of the car!

A few of my friends fitted this stuff to their 300C's. Works very well.

I must say I cant find a good R36 Bumper protector. I know VW have a stainless steel one for the wagons but they dont have one for the R36 (as it has a different bumper). Anyone got a good alternative for a stainless steel one ?

I like the look of that stuff... could be a good investment. It looks similar to the stuff I have on my iPhone.
