Had oem rotors and pads installed and now there is a sound as if the pad is dragging on the rotor! Took it back and they said the pads were not bedded in (by them) properly. They claimed to have fixed but the problem is still there. Comments?

I'm currently running HAWK ceramic pads on my car with stock rotors. I find them to be a lot more effective than the original and less dusty. Back in Singapore, I can drive round for a week and the wheels still look clean.

Was very close to getting the Hawk ceramics but changed my mind last minute. Currently run them on my GTR and find them quite good. How's the pedal feel on the Passat. The OEM pads are very sensitive. I often find myself almost going through the windscreen after jumping out of my GTR.
