    Brake Light Switch F issues

I have this come on about 2 weeks ago, scanned is and took it to the dealer who replaced both the brake master cylinder and the hall sensor switch. The EPC went away but came back after a couple of days.

The car is now still at the dealer but they don't seem to know what the problem it.

So I'm just wondering if anyone has had brake light switch F implausible issues and if it was something else (like a module or other part)? If it's wiring loom, the brake light should not work yeah? (brake lights work but have to push further before they come on)

    cheers

Old thread but thought I'll finish it off.

After about 2 months and EPC light returning 4 times, the dealer investigated and found there was a short in the towbar wiring loom (which was installed by them when I bought the car). Make sense since the brake signal goes there.

The said they didn't check the towbar module before because they didn't see the towbar so didn't know I had one (I removed the neck when not in use). At least happy they didn't charge anything.

    Fingers crossed it's fixed.
