I'd like to fit one of these to protect the bumper from being scratched by the kids' sports bags as they drag them in and out (actually it's my kids' friends who are the main offenders).
My local VW agent says VW only make one for the Passat wagon. Has anyone found a decent one at the usual car accessory sellers?

Thanks for the link. I hadn't considered a stick-on protector. The one I was thinking of was the fold-out flap that attaches to the inside of the boot.
The bumper is still in good condition because I was rear-ended and the whole bumper was re-sprayed.
Look for a dog protector on Ebay they fold out like you want

Thanks Hillbilly. I dunno why people can't get into and out of a car without trashing the door sills. I probably get into and out of my car ten times for every one time the passenger doors get used, but my sill is clean and the others are scratched. One of the kids (or their friend) managed to kick the red plastic lens off the inside bottom of one of the rear doors recently. WTF?
Mud in the speaker grills is another one of my pet hates.
