Bluetooth Blues

I was just about to post a thread saying I had the bluetooth all sorted when again this weekend it just stopped working.

But i have found the problem is probably my nokia e61 phone, which says bluetooth is ON, and the VW is registered. But nothing seems to happen.

Turning bluetooth on and off when the phone is on doesn't fix it.

But turning the phone off and back on fixes it.

Have you tried going to the Nokia web site and see if there is a newer firmware available for your phone?
I have a new E51 and it is absolutely brilliant with connecting to my VW Bluetooth.

Have you tried going to the Nokia web site and see if there is a newer firmware available for your phone? I had a similar problem with my old 6230i when connecting to my bluetooth headset. Only way to connect sometimes was to re boot phone.
I have a new E51 and it is absolutely brilliant with connecting to my VW Bluetooth.

good idea. i will try to udpate the phone. i really like the e61 so have no plans to replace.
