He he.... Enjoy.
Reading about the R36 is great, the test drive was brilliant, but this is nothing compared to picking up the new Beastie and taking a midnight run from Healsville to Narbathong over the black spur with the DSG in sport mode.
Towards the end of waiting 4 1/2 months, I'd started to have second thoughts. All fixed now that I have my wolf in sheep's clothing. Understated look that really gets up and boogies.
First impression as an owner instead of a test driver: WOW!!!
He he.... Enjoy.
Skip sport mode and put it in "manual" mode for an even better experience
(seriously I think my car has only been in sport mode by accident).

Welcome to the fold Mugwomp,
I'd agree with Steve on this one.
Mine is in manual mode all the time with my fingers on the paddles.
Sport mode sounds better, but i don't like the timing of the gears selected.
Enjoy mugwomp, you're gonna love it more and more...especially if you're seemingly on the doorstep of the blackspur!!!
Cheers,
Jayse.

Weclome to the forum and I hope you enjoy your R36.
I can't help but ask, that's a really curious user name you've got there... Your're not a Cronenberg fan by any chance?

Thanks for the welcome everyone.
I've used 'mugwomp' as a username for over 20 years and hadn't thought about where I got it from for most of that time. From memory it was the title of the chief for a particular tribe of American Indians. Never saw it used anywhere for about 10 years, but there's now a band, web site, heaps with it as a username, mythical bird and the list grows.
I agree with the above: as time goes on you'll love your R36 even more...
