    Quick pics of the lights.... I should have cleaned them first....

    * LED Daytime running lights:

    * HID & DRL's:

    Whenever the car is on the DRL's remain on.
    Great pics. Quick question. At night when you have your headlights & daytime running lights on, do the daytime running lights dim when you put the indicator light on on that side?

    No, the DRL's do not dim when the indicator is used. Why, well I guess one reason is that the front indicator lights are so damn bright that there is no need for the DRL's to dim.

    Good point. So many gizmos I don't know which one to play with first. Just hangin to get my car. Dealer says 10-12 working days from the time the ship docked (23rd Jan)!! Surely not that long...

    I have considered the change to LED based fogs & cornering lights but haven't taken it any further than that. I would like to though & have found pics & write up's by a guy in Europe that has done it to his B7 candy white Passat wagon. He had to remove the full fog's assembly from the bumper but fortunately looks like he didn't need to remove the bumper to do so. I am away right now so don't recall where the info is but it is on my computer at home so by weeks end i'll be able to post the link...

    OK, here is the link to the guy in Norway that has upgraded his fogs to LED, but also done some other things such as tinting the headlights etc on his B7 wagon.

    KilometerMagazine.com - My Euro Vw passat B7 )

    I thought I recalled him discussing how he put the new LED's in the fogs but that must be somehwere else..... Atleast you can see he has removed the fog light housing without removing the bumper.

    Anyway, it is a link to a forum so there is plenty to look at & read.....
