Hi Guys,
Just had my car tinted by Rob from Hunters Hill Tinting. Nice tint job but have a question regarding tiny air pockets or dust bubbles.
I found a few on my window that just popped up and was wondering if this is normal curing process or should I get it looked at after 1 week of drying the tint?
Cheers
Give the film time to cure. When I got mine tinted I tried not to open the windows for at least 3-4 days.
No matter what, you will get some small bubbles in the film. These will disappear over time. What will not disappear is any grit/dirt that may have been on the wrong side of the film when it was being applied (no matter how hard you try to keep everything dust-free, there will be some dirt/dust somewhere)
If you have the bubbles after a week and they are not getting any smaller, I'd take it back and have it looked at by the person who applied it.
