battery in boot would be a 'spensive one I'd say. very 'spensive. i imagine fully sealed, or vented outwards. like the one's on the Mk1, Mk2 mx5's... 450-500bucks?(for teh panasonic/mazda OEM one and it is tiny). but on the plus side, they last for ages....
More opportunites have been lost from indecision, rather than wrong decision....

I didn't think VW wired accesories that arnt there, also all the basic handle cams come with long cabling, if they didnt need it they wouldn't... What PMO is I paid for Robotised Parking as the cheapest way to get RVC (it was MY11 days when ordered, by the time it was made it was three days before MY12.5 build)... So you MY13 types are annoying me...

Yep - my 11 year old MX5 battery is still cranking along like a new one. Mind you, they are simple things with nothing like the toys in modern cars.

Sorry, I was just being mega confusing. What I was just trying to say is that regardless of battery position, you will need to run rvc cable up to the front and the aftermarket looms available whether from kufatec, carsystems.pl or a bloke named maloosheck will all have power running alongside the cable to power the control unit down the arse end of the car.

You simply would just add a repair wire to the fuse box to add an additional circuit and this will hook to the positive of the rvc wiring loom..

You have two options of getting RVC. The low version which doesn't have dynamic guidelines and the high version with controller.. problem with high version is that no one has successfully calibrated it but most people don't care and it functions fine.

i have a high kit sitting in a box behind me because the MY13 has it standard now
