I just yanked mine out with my hands by grabbing onto the fins to be honest, didn't damage the trim pieces all. Just got to make sure you guide it in the right direction so you don't snap the plastic.

Will give it a go when the lights arrive . . . always a little nervous about doing something new (second, third etc. time is always easier).
Expect no problems doing it with the great guide/s in this thread.
dopey - did you also adjust the light direction when you were at it? (up/down + L/R? I think it only does up/down for these lights - will have to stick my head under the car and have a look in the morning). If you did were they hard to do?
(I am assuming you just use a screwdriver with the exposed adjustment point/s and a convenient wall to get the aim right . . . )
I didn't adjust the alignment on any of the lights (at least I hope I didn't!) as I didn't see a need to go away from the factory settings (which would meet regulations).
dopey, how's is your LED bulb so far? Do you have any problems? I am thinking of ordering the same but thought I just check. Your feedback is appreciated. Thanks.
They still seem to be going ok, car gets driven every day. Still no bulb errors and all LED's working.
If I'm honest I think I would prefer bulbs that are a little whiter (less blue) and brighter - so I may purchase more expensive LED's in the near future to replace them. But overall, not bad bang for buck.
Thanks. Heard too many stories of LED bulb problems from reliability (lasting no more than a couple of weeks) to melting the lamp housing and holder.
