    Automatic Cruise Control Passat B8

Hi guys, so i've been trying to use ACC in my new Passat and I can only seem to increments speed by 10km/h. E.g if it's set to 70km/h it will only go to 80, 90, 100 ect... Surely that is not the only option? Especially since I live in Victoria where going over the speed limit by just a small amount results in large fines. Shouldn't there be a way to increase speed by 1-3 km/h?

All good I just worked it out. The ACC is actually quite different on the B8 compared with the B7 as it's no longer controlled on the stick but instead via controls on the steering wheel.

It turns out to increment/decrement by 1km/h you need to press the SET/RES buttons not the +- btns. Kinda counter intuitive at first glance lol.

That is good to know. Am used to my R36 ACC whereby you pull the lever to increment by 1km/h, but was at a loss as how to do the same in our Mk 7 Golf on my first long run in the car over the weekend. I hadn't got around to reading the manual as I thought I would work it out. The buttons don't help as the +- are for the volume. Why?

Travelling up and down a busy Hume Highway the ACC is a godsend. I wouldn't buy a new VW without the Drivers Assistance Package.

Just like our golf 7r. I much prefer the old style.
