maca:in the mk7 golf, the stop/start check-box is in the "01- Engine" Control module - Byte 6, Bit 0. See screen shot below.
As a further suggestion, if you use this method, you might want to also consider disabling the stop/start switch on the center console. On my car, this check box is in "09 - Cent Elect" control module - Byte 15, bit 3. See screen shot below.
