    Question Auto Hold DSG

    Hey Guys,

Has anyone had any luck getting the Auto Hold to default to "ON" instead of having to press the button every time you get in the car?

I always use Auto hold and would only switch it off when parking. We should be able to select some how in the MFD setup?

    Thanks

    Hey Rotelman,

I have done this in my car - '09 R36. From memory you just go into the vehicle setup in the MFD and select auto hold, and then opt for the 'on' position. Even if you unselect the button near the gear select, it will come back on again when you start the car again.

Not sure if there was a difference between models (I dont think so) but it is pretty easy to locate within the MFD.

    Hope that helps....

as far as I know that was a MY09 update, thus the MY08's (Mine) does not have that function, wish it did though.....

    So,

Is it an R36 thing then?? I have the MY09 125 Passat wagon and I can't find what you are talking about in the MFD.

Any Non R36 MY09 have this option?

    Cheers

My CC has the option, and I do have it on a the moment.

However, it makes me a little uncomfortable that the rear brake lights go out when the foot is removed from the pedal. I can't see why it should be this way, and can easily imagine it contributing to an accident.
