Even if the car is locked? Mine obviously doesn't auto open but I know that it flat out won't open at all even with the boot handle if I hit the lock button when I leave. That could rule your handle out as the problem if so.
The boot on our 2014 135 TDI Highline wagon literally opens automatically. Whenever it feels like it! On about 5 occasions we have come outside to find the boot open although no one has pressed the button on the fob. Even had the cops wake us up at 4am one night because of it. Each time the car has been locked and the boot just opens. Anyone know what the issue might be? I can't find much on Google.

Very strange to say the least...
Will definitely keep an eye on mine now also, never had an issues thus far.
Would be interesting to find the outcome of the issue. Have you taken to back to the dealer yet?
Being a 130TDI Highline it should still be under warranty!
