If you get it, please take some good footage of it driving, not just idling and revving on the spot like all the youtube vids currently available. Would really help fellow owners make a decision especially those like myself concerned about how loud it really is.

Finally decided to go with the Supersprint as I think that the Arqray might be too loud. Will take some photos, vids and post them on YouTube.

There's not much out there really is there, just not a very popular model to modify much beyond a set of wheels. It's probably mostly due to the NA engine, can't really do anything beyond basic breathing mods and a tune which may net you somewhere around the 20HP mark - terrible price to performance ratio. Have you considered just removing the baffles or removing the rear mufflers to add some note but keep the cost down?

I'm reconsidering getting an exhaust. Lately I've had too many people getting angry at me for driving below the speed limit. Sure, I might be in the "wrong" gear but that's no reason to jump in front of me and threaten a citizen arrest for speeding, stupid old man on Grant Avenue, Toorak Gardens. And there's no need to shout abuse and tell me to slow down when I'm travelling at 40km/h in a 50km/h zone, stupid guy with wheelbarrow on Mt. Osmond Road, Mt. Osmond.

A sexy exhaust will probably just be worse

Thought about getting some cheap aftermarket mufflers but I reckon it won't have the sound of a full catback system. Is this what you mean by removing the mufflers R36FTW??? I thought removing mufflers was illegal?

I was under the impression that so long as your emissions are legal and the sound is legal, whether or not you have a rear muffler is unimportant. The stock exhaust is very muted with its large resonators and mufflers, could try removing the mufflers and leaving the rest, or removing a resonator and leaving the other one and the mufflers, but it could end up too loud. Seems many who go aftermarket (Arqray etc) end up going back to stock due to it being too loud.

Hi Guys I'm new to this forum and currently own a 2010 R36 wagon and have had a arqray exhaust system fitted on my car for some time now.Very happy with the sound compared to stock, yes it is a bit louder when you first start the thing in the morning but I have found it is not too loud for every day driving and my four year old seems to have no problem falling asleep in the back still. I don't think the sounds from the youtube videos do these exhaust systems much justice you need to see how well made they are and here it for your self, so I would highly recommend this mod if you want a better sounding R36. 4paw
