I reckon I might get the Arqray then. I really do dig that angry/exotic sound. You get hints of it with the DSG shift "brap" noise, like it wants to sound better.
Did you go through Wal/Euro Exhausts? Cost?

Yes went through Wal (nice guy from memory) the cost was just under 3k at that time I think (4 years ago), I reckon they would be more now ?
He shipped direct from Japan to my door at the time with no problems.

Wicked, do they charge extra GST on that then? I have spoken to the guy, seems quite nice and honest. I am considering the titanium tips but it looks like they're an extra $580ish if Nengun's price is anything to go by, which is a bit rich!

Thanks again 4paw. I'v seen that video before but again, its a little hard to gauge.

Jakey the TT tail is apparently just the blue tips according to Wal. Its not actually titanium piping.

I'm thinking of ordering mine from Nengun in a couple of weeks, only cause they're about $400 cheaper then Wal can get em in.

Hey Jakey, where did you get your evoms intake?

Yeah I know that's why I said titanium tips! The tips are actually titanium to get that burnt effect. I do really want them as they look amazing, but at $565 it's pretty rough to justify to yourself! I didn't realise Nengun is cheaper, I assumed Wal would be! Remember you'll have to pay GST on it too, Wal might be quoting GST inclusive? You'll want to double check that if you haven't already of course.

And I bought it from a guy on here, lucky me. It's awesome, get one. Doesn't have to be this one just get an intake, I love how throaty it sounds now even just driving slowly.

Glad I could help you guys out, makes me want my old car back !

If you are both going to get them ? it might pay to talk to witch ever supplier you end up going with about getting a deal for 2 cat back sets (you might save on shipping from Japan to Australia) just a thought ?

I'm assuming Jakeys your talking about the blue tip ends, as Toodskie said they are not titanium just heat treated stainless from my understanding I did look at them as well but at the time I thought they were a bit to "to fast and furious" but having said that, if I did it again I probably would get them as they would have looked great with a Biscay Blue wagon

Yea I heard a lot of boys talking about the TT tip giving a better note then the SS but I find that very hard to believe considering its just a heat treatment like you said 4paw. I personally just cant justify the extra for it.

I was thinking the same thing aswell regarding the shipping boys. How soon you thinking of looking into it Jakey?

Might be worth talking to Wal and seeing if he can hook us up...

P.S haden't actually thought about the GST component...lucky you bought it up lol

Anything valued over AUD$1,000 will attract GST and import duties. Most overseas sellers will wipe their hands of it and say something like "import duties/taxes are responsibility of the buyer".

Hopefully Wal or whoever is organising the purchase locally, is factoring in these costs. If you're just getting a price from an overseas seller they more than likely won't and you'll be up for these costs before the freight company releases the goods.

Best check first and make sure you're comparing "apples with apples".

    my 2c:

if i had the money for, and could justify the cost, of a full exhaust then this would be my choice:

iPE (Innotech Performance Exhaust) - The best build Valvetronic exhaust system in the world for supercars.

looks incredible, sounds incredible (on youtube anyway) and has valvetronic system with an auto mode

Hi Waz. Yea I looked into this system aswell but its around $6k just for the cat back unit. And the dealing I was talking to said he can no longer sell the mid pipe due to the amount of drone it creates and how many customer have bought it back and asked for a refund, plus its not road legal in Aus.

Agreed its a nice looking unit and then valve system is pretty sweet but the cons outweigh the pros IMO.
