That is an optional mod.

NA cars come with 2 reverse and Euro's come with one which ours are the same as the Euro's

Which means that we would have to import a rear light cluster from the USA, or can the individual lens be replaced?

Ours are the Euro lights so there is no modding to be done just need to plug in VAG COM!

for the donuts anyway, couldn't figure out the reverse light setting Greg was talking about.

Though not following the instruction on the first page. I found that with OZ Passats (my car) it's the following (from a later post)

09-Cent Elect

CODING-07

LONG CODING HELPER

BYTE 09 (Center of Tails).

Normal = HEX 0A.

Set BYTE 09 to HEX 00

(to set the byte I copied the whole string in coding-07 dialog and pasted into new value with byte 09 changed.)

DO IT!

Done.

p.s. How do you attach a pic that's not from a URL?

I'm a bit concerned though as reply #94 on page 3, network crasher posted that after this mod, his Euro lights both went dead after 6 months. I not sure if it has to do with this mod or his lights but I wouldn't think that turning the center OFF will shorten the life of the LED light. If anything, it should increases the life, no? mmmm

Can't wait to see how it'd look like with + w/o braking. Does the inner center light turn on when break pedal pressed?
