Anyone gone forced induction on their R36?

    Hey Guys,
Was wondering if anyone had gone down this path? What kind of kits are available, if any?

    Cheers

I have a twin turbo on my R36 engine that is in my R32 golf.. HPA are putting a kit together like there 20th anniversary MK4/5 R32 turbo kits. They should be available by the end of the year and priced really nicely for the power gains you will get.
You can give City Performance Centre a call on 02 9437 6077 and get the ETA on the turbo kits as they are the official HPA dealer and installer in Australia.

Thanks for the info AP. Not after anything massive, maybe 280-290kw. Not sure what the DSG can handle?

From what I know they are going to offer a 450hp about 335kw.. The DSG will require a stage 3 DSG flash, The standard clutches will be ok as long as you don't launch it to much...

Thanks AP much appreciated Of course a Mk4 R32 with an HPA turbo kit also is very tempting (damn you John!)

Well i see that the R32 FT425 kit is US$12500 so I can imagine the price here with fitting etc there wouldn't be any change out of 20k if not more. Way too rich for my blood.

boys boys boys, all you need is a good sensible 125 TDI like me. Hell, it takes sooo long between fills that I keep forgetting my fuel card pin number! Who needs 600bhp and 500Nm anyway?
