Is anyone expecting a Passat around start of november on the Boheme?

Ask your dealer for the VIN or he can tell you from his computer system whether it is on that boat.

All they have told me is that they will be keeping an eye on all Passats that land in Australia. One has not yet been set aside.

I may sound somewhat obsessed by now, but I wonder if there's a way to tell if an allotment of Alltracks is on that boat. At least to go to dealers for test drives. I don't expect that my desired configuration will be available directly from a dealer anyway.

I think Alltracks will definitely debut at AIMS in Sydney for November launch, so they're here already

I have one of my local dealers pretty much on speed dial (just kidding!) and so far they deny any and all stock in Alltracks. That's why I expect that currently there's a handful for the show but not enough to provide all dealers with test models. Those may be on that vessel.

So if anyone is interested, the ship arrived at Durban today, last stop before Fremantle Australia! 3 weeks and it will dock in port of brisbane .

Dealer shows that he will have the car on the 5th and I should have it on the 9th yay! Has been a long wait since April!

Yeah, there was actually an interesting article in the German magazine Der Spiegel about the drastic drop in pirate attacks - and the bad effect it's had on the economy of that area (break my heart!) - because armed guards, barbed wire, convoys and what-not has made it impossible to enter the ships for the scum.
