Anyone enabled the Auto-folding mirrors on B6? And disabled the auto start/stop?

Hi folks

Just wondering if anyone has enabled the mirrors to automatically fold when the car is locked and return out to normal when unlocked and started? (Obviously when fitted with the electric memory seats and mirrors).

I have this function on the new Touareg and it is selectable from the infotainment unit, but surely it must be programmable in the 2011 Passat we have too?

I have searched the forum with search parameters such as "VCDS+ mirror", "folding mirror" etc and come up with nothing useful that I can find.

I DID however find a way of getting around the auto start/stop on Mk7 Golfs. So is that something that can be done for our beasts as well?

I have access to programming tools if I can provide the right information for them to change...

Anybody have tips or hints or links they care to share?

Thanks - have looked. It may be a "learnt" function rather than programmed. Will give it a whirl.

It involved quite a bit of wiring and the use of relays etc plus some coding

Back to step 1 - find out HOW to do it... and then is it worth it...
