    Android Phone and Alltrack

Does anyone have an android phone and an alltrack? I can pair the phone, make calls, check phonebooks ect. It also streams audio via bluetooth but doesn't show any track info like name, time remaining. All this was present with an Iphone 4S but isn't now using an android phone on 4.2.2.

What phone exactly? Some do and some don't support it.
HTC phones for example prior to the HTC One do not support AVRCP 1.3 which is required to support transmitting track/title info.
HTC use a proprietry Bluetooth stack for whatever reason.
(At least the HTC One now supports it.)

My S3 does everything you've just described (no detailed track info). I'm still on 4.1.2.

It's not a function of the Android version, but the bt stack which is supplied by the manufacturer.

Thanks for the replies so far. I have an oppo find 5 which has a snap dragon quad core processor so it is very similar to the samsungs.
Sait 70, could you elaborate a bit more on your solution. I'm not sure what you are referring too?

According to this post Opp use AVRCP v1.0 so no track info.
Changing your bluetooth module in the car will therefor have no effect.
You'd need to petition Oppo to release a firmware update that updates their BT stack to support the newer AVRCP v1.4 protocol, or hope some developer on xda-developer forums has ported the stack from another device like the Galaxy Note...

Sorry, I should clarify that it doesn't read the ID information, but it does display the folder the song is in, and the filename. Good enough for me.
