What about the options? Anyone know the prices? When I ordered this 2010 build it was before the new prices were released and now it seems prices have gone down even though the 125TDI has been given the 'Highline' treatment. I'm wondering if the dealer will adjust the price on delivery or if I'll have to still pay 2009 prices. I have a feeling ACC has been reduced to something like $1650 when I paid $2000.

Did anybody notice that the MY10 R36 is showing better fuel economy?
I have to say that fuel economy is one of the not so good points about the R36. It now is shown to have better economy than the V6 Highline.

What sort of economy are people getting out of their MY10s? Because AFAIK none of the drivetrain has been changed in the MY10 compared to the MY09.

Not so good? Compared to what? Remember it's a fairly high performing car. In the real world, a stock R36 is FASTER than a stock HSV Clubsport. Personally, for a 220kw/350Nm 3.6 litre V6, I reckon 12-14 l/100km around the city and 8-9 l/100km on the highway is AWESOME!

My comments about economy were just because the other car I was considering was the Audi S3 Sportback.
I also think the R36 fuel economy is good for a 3.6L V6. The S3s is brilliant though for much the same performance.
I forgot to mention before that the CO2 emissions are lower for the MY10 R36as well.

Ah OK... But the S3 is a whole lot lighter too.

The CO2 emissions are lower? Hmmm... Different exhaust? I wonder how they achieve that? Not that I care at all! lol

If I was to make a guess, it would be that Direct Injection is relatively emerging technology. Changes to injection timing and/or injector spray pattren could result in improved economy and emissions without a performance penalty.

I ordered my R36 Wagon in Nov09 and have slapped on close to $12k of options. I've been trying to get an answer from my dealer regarding any savings/pricing adjustments with the tariff reductions. Funnily enough, he's remaining VERY quite and uncontactable!
