    Adaptive Cruise Control - Brakes

Anyone know if when the ACC retards the car because of its proximity to the vehicle in front of you, do the brake lights show.

I am quite impressed with ACC. Would have bought the car without if one had been readily available but now I find it quite a worthwhile addition to cruise control.

Have been experimenting with it and it can retard the vehicle quite quickly if necessary. Feels like brake application, not just throttle/gearbox/engine braking.

Just wondering if following vehicles get to see brake lights.
You know you are getting old when you cancel your order for a 3.6 CC and buy an Icelandic Gray TDI CC instead.

The car definitely slows down to match the speed of the one in front and warns you audibly if it needs your attention to slow down with greater force but I'm not sure if it brakes or if the brake lights come on.

I certainly agree with you though - it's the ONLY option I would have wanted but the ONLY one I couldn't get on the .:R36.

It will apply the brakes if necessary, so yes, the brake lights must illuminate... would be illegal if it didn't.

Completely agree - the autohold should leave the brake lights on.

    Why?

Does that mean when you use the park brake the tail lights should illuminate as well? It's all the autohold is doing.....
