    Aaand it's goodbye from him...

Start with a two Ronnie's joke... that will lose half of them....

Anyhow... this will probably be my last post of a new thread... at least for a year or so... I will definitely lurk, I may even reply (if i happen to have something to contribute) but seeing as I have been officially "de-vagged" I probably wont have a mandate to kick em off...

All good BTW, although I do miss the Passat... got a sweet contract so i needed to organise myself a runabout... I wanted something economical, relatively cheap to insure, and FUN...

In the end... this fit the bill nicely! Couldn't be further from a 5.7 second high powered AWD station wagon if i tried...

The first thing I did, was to go somewhere quiet and out of the way and... may or may not have been a handbrake turn, Why... Because now I FRIKEN CAN!

Oh and after a slow start... give me Dynaudio over Bose ANY DAY!

    Cheers Fellas

    Bye John,

As you can see, I am a new member to VAG but in a previous life I also drove a MX5. It put a huge smile to my face, so ENJOY.

    Catch you on the flipside.

What is it with VW owners and MX5's?

Glad it all worked out for you mate. One door closes and another opens as they say.

Enjoy the mx5, they're a whole lot of fun for sure!

Ha - gone the other way. Just sold my beloved MX5 (an SP no less ) for a 125TDi wagon. Oh well, that's what having three babies will do to you...

Cheers guys! I'll check in every now and then... too busy lurking in the Miata forums right now...

And Casey... Shame you couldn't have kept it? The old SP is pretty unique!

Tell me about it - only one of two white ones made.

Pity you bought an NC - you could have bought my old track wheels and semis

    I LOOOOVE my 1993 BBS LE MX5 (1 of 100)...
such a joy to drive. pure enjoyment to drive, woefully underpowered, but so quick when it counts.

It's nice when the hardest decision you need to make in the morning is:

do I take the R, the Passat, or the Mx5......

    enjoy the MX5!
More opportunites have been lost from indecision, rather than wrong decision....
