Depends I rang 3 VW service depts and the price for the Polo was all around $420 The Passat was from $381 to $460

I got the Polo done at home for $245 by a sponsor on here and the Passat done by a German car place for $384

I was told by my dealer when I picked up my car that there was a complimentary (no cost) service at 7,500 km (sounds like the 'health check' you guys have been posting about).

When I asked about it (as my car would be in the wrong state at 7,500 km mark) they said it was really optional and that it did not have to be done at the 7,500 km (before/after was OK) but the 15,000 km service was the real deal . . .
