    2008 R36 vs 2009 R36

Can anyone shed some light on the diferences between the 2008 and 2009 R36?
I know the instrument cluster is different but what else?

If I'm not mistaken I believe the audio system is also different. The 2009 model has a full touch screen arrangement whereas the 2008 model has a more basic unit with the traditional dials etc.
Could be wrong though. Can someone confirm?

I think you're right, the 2008 standard unit has a basic interface without the touchscreen but the 2009 has the touch screen operation. Do you know of any other differences?

Im picking up my R36 in around a weeks time and just wanted to know what the differences were as ive got one fairly well spec'd one ordered.

If it's ordered, it will be a MY09 so nothing to worry about...

Correct the differences are minimal and if you have one coming its not an issue. If you got a R36 order from around Sept Last year its a MY09. I believe some of the buttons are different around the gear stick as well as the instrument cluster and the rcd-510 (vs the old unit)

ok cool, that kinda cures my curiosity. Ive got the Sat Nav and Dynaudio so i guess the head unit (if thats what you can call it) is going to be the same regardless of year.
