2006 V6 4Motion Brakes & Rotors

Hey guys I'm in Brisbane and need new pads and probably rotors all round on my 06 V6 4 Motion. Austral have told me about $1300 Prestige & Performance a non dealer workshop have told me $900 to $1200.

Any tips or pointers here. Should I get someone like MIDAS or an generic brake shop to look at it? Does anyone else use or recomend a non dealer workshop in Brisbane?

I'm also in the same boat. (but am in Sydney)
I need to change all 4 pad/rotors on the same car as OP.
Not sure what is the cheapest but still good... Hmm.

Rear pads can not be changed w/o a computer due to the electric park brake. Your best bet is either a VW specialist or a dealer.
