Should absolutely work. Happy to try my VCDS on it for you to prove there's no issues with the car.

Hi Guys n Gals,
Just needing a lil help or confirmation on this topic. I've got a 06/01 build (02/2002 Aus Import) B5.5 Passat 2.8 30v v6, and i'm trying to use a Kiwi Bluetooth OBD2 adapter with Torque for Android and not having any luck getting a connection to the ECU.
I've tried the combo (adapter & software) on a variety of diff cars and works fine. When using Torque on the ISO 9141-2 profile, or even auto to cycle through, I can't get any data/connection to the ECU.
I'm down to two options trying to work out why. Either the car isn't OBD2 compliant-while 01 build euro cars should be, though cars for outside euro/us market may not be. Or I'm looking at a fault affecting the OBD2 connection (ABS Unit or HeadUnit issue are common from what I've read.
Is anyone able to confirm if this model should be/could be OBD2 Compatible or not? Or any manual method to tell if it is?
Thanks in advance.
Ben.
