    2.8 V6 30V APR to ACK compatability

I was just offered a VW Passat Auto that has a that has been hit pretty hard and is only suitable for parts and would like to know if the engines are compatible from a ACK (auto Passat) engine code to a APR (manual Passat) engine code?
    Thanks for any help Pat.

I'm not real sure if they're compatible to swap - all I know is that a manual V6 30V B5 in Australia is quite rare - well done on finding one!

I found out how rare they are the hard way when I had to buy a flywheel from the states lol. It goes really well for a small V6 and my wife loves it. I just brought another one with a burnt interior for less than the price of a replacement catalytic converter so now I've got heaps of spares I case something goes wrong.
