I got my wheels through Takuban Motorsports but they only do enkeis.

Tirerack seem to have a lot of wheels available and have a pretty good rep for getting things here cheap.

also the side puddle lights? I would like to do this mod but I don't want to break anything specially the plastic covers of the lights. If I could get some help that would be great. also what tools you guys used and bulb types etc?
    Thanks
    here you go cru22z:
FRONTS: just a thin bladed something and gently prize BOTH sides of the surround. It will then hinge down and you remove the 2 screws and it all falls out in your hands.

REAR/CENTRE: just pop off the entire surround with your fingers - easy as:

You then have clear access to the bulbs. You'll notice I don't have a centre bulb. I eventually put one in, and then promptly removed it because it was too bright - evidently it upset the interior ambiance!

As for the puddle lights, I really want to do this as the standards look crap. I had a try but gave up, just didn't have the balls to keep going! Imagine smashing the self tinting driver's one!!!

If anyone knows the trick, really like to find out please.

a big difference from this (not my car obviously, but same wheel):

Sharkie had it installed and coded in a flash. Worked straight up! Great having the flappy paddles as I can now drop down a gear or two when I need it without having to stuff around with gear stick. Good thing is (not having had a DSG before, so I wasn't aware of) but it will revert back to whatever mode I had it in after about 10 seconds (unless I keep changing gears). Of course if I was in manual mode it doesn't.

Other advantage is size and feel of the wheel - much thicker and better contoured. The paddles are in just the right position and just the right size too.

We also tried disabling the the Stop/Start mode, but for some reason it won't take. Tried twice and it's still working. Also activiated the auto windows up when it detects rain too - very handy when I leave the windows down in summer at work and then forget about it as the storm hits.

So with Casey winning the 2012 MotoGP at home, and all this good stuff on the Passat, had a really great weekend. Thanks Sharkie for your time and help- much appreciated!

Next weekend will be the Provent install!
Clip how did you activate the auto window down when it rains?
    Care to share please?

Sharkie activated it when he had VAGCOM connected, just scroll through till you find it, then change the value. There's heaps of stuff in there.
