Having just picked up a new B7 Passat (125TDI, DSG, Pearl black, desert beige interior), I'm now looking at some mods and wondering if there is anyone else out here that might have some ideas (Sharkie's not talking to me now because I've bought an oil burner)
A few things I want to do already include:
LIGHTING:
- LED bulb replacments for rear number plate lights and DRLs - already ordered these
- replace headlight bulbs with Osram Superlights or something else (any suggestions?)
INTERIOR:
- replace stock speakers with German Maestro's and dynamat doors
- install underseat sub (already checked out the Pioneer that was made to fit the passat. Being fitted shortly & will post pics of this neat install)
ENGINE: - remap courtesy of Custom Code (have already spoken with CC and dealer likes them too, so all should all be good- will wait for a good run in period first though).
- air, exhaust?
EXTERIOR
- was going to replace wheels, but actually quite like the Michigans - went to choose some aftermarkets and ended up looking at similar, so might as well keep these. But will add some spacers to push them out further and improve the aweful pinched-in look at the rear.
- give it the Nano treatment (seems people like that the best)
