    I've always been told buy the best that you can afford. That said, heavy wheels can speed up wear on your car, as its different mass to just putting a bag of concrete in the boot.

    I didn realise you could get such large rims so cheap tho, guess thats why there are so many Rodeos with big stupid wheels on them.

    1.tell youre unsurance company
    2.be aware that legally you may need an engineers report/certificate
    3.it really sucks when they void youre policy after an accident especially if youre at fault and youve just smacked into a bentley or similar (traffic lights can cost $200k)
    4.cool wheels though!
