Hey guys, old post but I have just taken a cupra Leon and Formentor phev for a test drive. Very similar feel to my 2015 Jetta, obviously being part of the VAG group. Much more advanced in regards to driver assistance, the formentor is almost autonomous allowing full removal of hands and feet from the controls for short periods of time.
Cupra mode is fun, responsive and has a nice exhaust note improvement.
I’m looking at phev rather than electric for the government incentives but also preventing range anxiety having a combined range of 1100 klms with a full tank of unleaded and full battery, but only about 80klms range on full EV mode. Enough for the daily commute to work.
Does anyone here have any input on these new vehicles are they customisable using vcds or ODBeleven / carista. Any feedback would be appreciated
    Thanks Lloyd
