    !V power to luggage compartment.

There's a bit of annoying cost cutting in the new ROC, like no aircon in the glovebox and no cig socket in the boot.

So I want to run a 15l fridge in the boot on forthcoming road trips. The fridge only requires 40W, or less than 4 amps.

Does anyone know of any unused wires in the loom (maybe a trailer harness? ) that can be easily tapped into?

Otherwise I will have to run a cable from the fuse box to the rear and put a merit socket under the floor in the spare wheel well.

I can't find an obvious spot to go through the firewall from the engine fuse box which would be preferable and easy to put an inline fuse that's easy to get to. Under bonnet connection would also more easily make 15A available in the boot if ever needed.

I would run a heavier wire than normal ciggy wire , if for no other reason than voltage drop. I had a 50L Waeco and ran an 8G wire from Battery to rear. You could run it under the car and back up through a grommet in the boot. Did that in a Landcruiser cos it was easier.

My question is more where to run, not what.

I ran 16mm sq cable to the rear of my Patrol for the 50A DC-DC charger, as well as 6B&S to the towbar anderson plug. Vastly different to what I need in the T-ROC, and access was vastly easier on the Patrol.

Oh Dear Alright As I said I found it easier to run it down from battery along under the floor and up into the boot Yes Landys and Cruisers are easier as can run it along chassis and cable tie it but most of the VW and Skoda SUV's have panels under the floor which you might be able to get it over them My Tig had full length covers.

The T-ROC has no obvious path from the engine bay fuse box to under the vehicle other than past the turbo where the heat shields give a hint not to run cable down there. The suspension turret blocks everything. Then there are the full length covers, and a rear suspension setup that appears impossible to run a cable over.

There is no obvious path past the suspension turret on the mudguard side to get into the cabin from the engine fuse box either.

There is a grommet in the boot floor though..... which is easy to get to.

Maybe there's access under the inner mudguard but I don't really want to remove that if it's not going to help.
