Temperature controls / infotainment not illuminated

Hello

I have read a number of times that the slider temp controls and infotainment is not illuminated at night. Does this mean no light at all including using the headlights ? I like the T-Roc as my next ride but this would make me think twice.

This is the case for the golf, not the troc. The ergonomics of the troc are much better and has more buttons, backlighting, etc.
