Can anyone tell me where the data sticker is on the 2023 R? It's not in the book, not in the boot floor, not on any pillar, and not under the bonnet where it is easily visible. I'm trying to locate the PR code.

A quick Google search reveals lots of other people with new VW's asking the same question - so presumably VW are no longer attaching these data stickers to the car (probably saves $0.0001 per car).

Yeah, VW removed the PR code sticker that was in the owners manual and rear boot space around 2020.
You need to speak to your VW service dealer with your VIN to obtain PR code information now, ask for "vehicle data".
That information is available to them but in a very unfriendly format that is not able to be exported as a group report.

Finding the same issue with my 2024 Cupra Leon V.

The above replies seem to confirm it's no longer done.

I'll contact the dealer in our area to see how I get on, they've been great so far in providing part data and pricing so I can shop online.

Well, success was quick and easy.

Contacted Solitaire Automotive and my friendly parts interpreter (shoutout to Tim Savage), and he just printed the document out and emailed it.

Mentioned that Cupra (and I would assume by defacto that they are from the same factories) that VW does the same thing by not doing the stickers any more.

EDIT : Also got this feedback from the sales guy ;

Other than the VIN plate there isn’t any other identifiers on the vehicle.
Since 2021 vehicles haven’t required a compliance sticker/plate to be placed on the vehicle.
