Well have just been out to my Kamiq which is a T Cross in a different dress
The trip is displayed just inside left dial at the bottom and in the right side is either the odo reading or if you have ACC enabled it shows that . To reset the trip meter it as said above needs to be scrolled down in ASSIST systems and then press the roller till it zeros. Presume yours has the same wheel as mine and in a Kamiq Manual its on page 52 and the section is Driver Information systems . Gives 2 options using either buttons on the right hand wand or as above. mY trip meter just keeps on adding up nad needs a manual reset to go back to zero.

I used to write down all the figures when it was new but now if it needs a drink it gets one and to hell with it. There is also a screen comes up and tells you all that info if you turn it off and dont open the door.

The quickest way of doing this without going to the radio screen is as follows:

My digital dash is setup like this normally with a digital speedo in the centre (which means I have the driving data set selected)

Change the display option (in that center bit of the screen) with the up/down arrow and OK buttons.

Note that the L/R buttons will change the central section to a different set like Navigation for instance.

With the up/down arrows move through the options to get to trip setting.
    Start here (in my case)

    Go to here

press OK and it will reset the trip readout on the dash.

    Takes all of 10s.

Thanks guys. My dashboard looks different to the ones posted here. Mine looks 'simplistic' in comparison.

Here's a screenshot of the dashboard: Imgur: The magic of the Internet

Here's a video I captured while looking at the settings. MY23 T-ROC - No trip meter setting - YouTube

I am convinced I don't have this option on my car

That is just a different configuration of the display on the screen. The digital dash is VERY configurable. I could have a similar set-up if I so choose, which I don't

I'd suggest you pull out the owner's manual and have a read on how to change the display.

I could be wrong, and that may be a more basic dash version, but the owner's manual should still tell you.

What Sharkie said, look up the detail in your owners manual. You have the basic version of the digital cockpit which is different to most of us able to assist.
If you can use your steering wheel controls to scroll up the trip setting in driving data press and hold it and the trip figure should reset

Hi Guys, I've had a look at the Owner's manual and there is not much details in there. I have also reviewed the settings in the head unit setting menu and it doesn't even have an option to reset 'Trip Recorder' like what is displayed on Hillbilly's photos in his post above.

I think I'm going to bite the bullet and approach the dealer/service centre for help...

For the basic dash you can change it to distance since last fill so when you refuel it sets to 0. There is no trip selection with the basic dash.

You can choose with view on the steering wheel and with the option that has the digital speed in the centre you can change to driving data from the steering wheel for various options such as since refueling.

Thanks Rabbit. A good workaround. Since it is software that is currently existing on the T-ROC not sure why they went the way they did with the basic dashboard instead of providing a full featured one
