I reckon it will be in Brisbane on the evening of the 14th. 14/2/23
I am no ship expert but it is now holding off the coast with 7 or 8 others waiting to come into port 15/2/23. I have seen 2 car boats in the Port of Brisbane before but recently there has only been one at a time. 2 car carriers holding off Port Kembla but they can take 3 at a time. Melbourne takes the win though with 12 waiting to berth, they can normally take 3 at a time. Never seen that many waiting to come in. That is a lot of new cars arriving in showrooms in the next month.

    Yup, it's the Traveller.

The delays are on the port side. Been slow (ports still blame COVID) apparently due to staff issues on the ground processing the many cars arriving. My dealer says 3-4 weeks from offloading before they even see the cars at the dealership holding yards. On my daughter's T-Roc last November, it was exactly 4 weeks from the offload date to when the dealer received the car and then another 4 days of pre-delivery .....

Hoegh Asia docked on the weekend, about a week overdue. Now to see how long for quarantine, customs and delivery.

Well as I sit and await delivery for my GE VW has bout out a pre June 30 deal. $58,990 on road. So this is about $1,000 less than I had agreed to pay. So back to the dealer tomorrow to renegotiate. They delayed delivery so they can pay.
interesting the full R is $64,990 on the road.
I suspect that there is a flood of R models coming in after the delays so they are going to try and clear a few before June 30 by knocking of a grand.
Wifey likes the leather, electric tailgate and side warning feature of the full kit model. Should I upgrade?

    Here’s a good article on port delays….. https://www.drive.com.au/news/quaran...cars-stranded/
And on the home front dealer has agreed to revise price down to match VW offer. But decided against the extra $6K for the full version.
