I also like those. Anyone done them in black yet?...A8 reps...

haha, why's that? Are the "A8's" a bit too full on?
Also, after much photo research, I'm learning that full black rims kind of 'disappear', and you loose their details, so to match my car I might go something a bit more 'dark charcoal' or 'matte charcoal', something a couple of shades lighter than full black. I saw fuzion's 'anthracite' BBS on his newish blue S3, those are amazing, the perfect combination of the styles I like (except the red centre caps), but both the rims & the high end paint job are WAY out of my budget!
Bump for more people to offer me some 5x100 rims!!........... Scratches etc are fine for the right price as I am possibly painting anyway.

Just rang Tempe Tyres for some, they're out of stock, no more for about 4 weeks.

I guess I'll just have to get some more offers of 2nd hand wheels off all the dubbers out there in the mean time!!
have a cruise through this website in the UK
VAG 5x100, BM Autosport Ltd
he has 40 different 5x100 options to consider, and come highly recommended on the UK forums (fora?) for both price and quality.
You will need an offset of +35 or less.
He is very helpful and can arrange shipping to Oz no problems. Can even supply tyres, but this would take you over the customs threshold for duty/GST.
My recommendation is to avoid spacers if you can, because they are actually illegal in Australia and you run the risk of getting pinged by police/voiding your insurance

looks wise id say 16s or 17s with a bigger sidewall, if you're not going to lower it 18s will likely look a bit goofy. Alternatively, drop it like its hot.
How about my s3 wheels 17"
I have 17x7" Denvers that are in new condition.
5x100 stud pattern as well.
They came off my Polo GTI if you're interested.

- Thanks for that great info & link! I've had a look, and price vs. style wise, I think I'll be going for the R32 Reps at Tempe Tyres if I get brand new at the moment ($1400 with Kumho's). I'll still have another look or 2 there though.

- Good advice. For 18's, I don't really want to lower, but if I have to (30-50mm), for the right wheels/rims I will seriously consider it. I spotted some H&R lowering spings for sale 2nd hand on one of these forums, so that could be an option.
Otherwise, it looks like mostly 17's that are being offered from people in the 2nd hand department, so what rubber will give me the best look there? 225/45/17?

- Price and rubber 'type' & '%' left? Just PM me if you don't feel like posting up here. Thanks.

- Thanks for the offer, I like those rims a bit, but they're not the look I'm after. Good luck with them though.

ANYONE: What's the differnce between 'lowering spings' and 'coilovers'? Mainly don't know what coilovers do (better)?
Thanks All!!
