RE: WTB MK6 Jetta Passenger Seat (LEATHER)

Hi All,

I have just found a tear in the passenger side seat squab (where your bum sits).
Looks like it would be too much for a Motor Trimmer to repair, so was thinking if anyone is wrecking or knows of a wrecker that would have the following;

Passenger seat.
Must be BLACK Leather.
Standard Seats on 118TSI Highline, 147TSI Highline and 155TSI Highline Sport, however optional on the 118TSI Comfortline.

I will contact VW Parts tomorrow to see how much it costs just to buy the leather cover only for the seat base.

Failing that, I would be happy to refit from a wreck if it is in good condition.

I went to VW Parts this morning, they wanted $1,110 for the leather seat base cover!!!

Now to find some wreckers!

All sorted, I have just purchased a complete seat.
Will look to swap out soon.

Are the jetta seats the same as the passat seats?

No, I have electric seats in my Jetta which was an option.
They are similar in design to the B7 Passat leathers seats, but are not the same.
And they are different again to Golf seats of a similar era (MK6 Golf).

I do have the under seat storage compartment available from the donor seat if anyone is interested...
