If you're looking at getting one for the MK1 I suggest you contact Goon on this forum. He's in Kambah and doing this conversion on his MK1.

He got a wrecked Audi A4 for a very good price so had nearly all the parts he needed and hit eBay for the rest.

I'll let you know when our next meet-n-greet is on at his place. Probably mid January.
