Thanks LRDV8R...thats what I expected, and whats showing in the OM. Here's the thing......I don't have a TCS button?? Just looked at the interior shots of the Arteon over at the Car advice review and the chilli red one in their test has a TCS button.
    Here is what I got

Anyone else missing the button? Or heard of the spec changing?

WTF! Yeah - you're missing a button. See here (photo from my car just now). This button just toggles the traction control on/off with a press.

Yep, mine's the same. My Arteon built May 2018. Traction control button has gone walkabout.

Possibly to discourage launch control starts?
You should be able to disengage it via pressing the left control stauk in and deselect from the cockpit menu ?

Although I didn't hear the Arteon mentioned specifically, the traction control button was removed from Golf and Tiguan with the MY18.5 upgrade for cars built from around Oct/Nov 17.

Thanks for the replies, good to know that it's not a one-off. @ Blackpaladin, I suspect you are right in thinking its to discourage overuse of the LC. It must place a hell of a load on the drivetrain, especially in a fairly heavy car like the Arteon. Being mechanically sympathetic, its not something that I plan to do too often.

Interesting. Glad to hear it isn't just the Arteon. Considering they all use the same shifter I would assume this is some cost savings crap.

Launch Control isn't a feature you "need" oftern but when you do "need" it then it is extremely helpful.

Very interesting! I never noticed the TCS button was missing from the 2018. If I were a betting man I'd wager it was a safety precaution to stop it accidentally being turned off by a passenger? Subaru have made similar moves in the past.

does the MY18 Passat 206 still have the TCS button?

the MY18 Superb 206 still has it.

considering all 3 have the same engine and AWD drivetrain, its strange why they removed the button from the Arteon!!!!
