I already know I won't be able to afford it.
So my friends Kodiaq - that opens and closes using the internal button.
Just checked my wife's Superb Wagon, and that only opens with the internal button - you have to get out and go to the back of car and press the button there to close it. But you can close it automatically from the keyfob.
My car is the exact same as the Superb - internal button opens only, but you can close it with the fob or by using the button at the back.
I've got a Hex Net on order from Ross Tech - it should arrive soon. I'm going to see if I can figure out how to enable it. I know the car can do it - it just needs to know it can.
My car: MY18 Arteon
My car #2: MY22 Volvo XC40 Pure Electric
Her car: MY22 Skoda Octavia Limited Edition Wagon
All track Wolfsburg opens and closes from the switch inside. Just sounds like a bunch of inconsistent coding across different development teams to me.
Cheers
They will just say there's an ADR rule concerning the function...lol
