Hi Guy, in the market for a downpipe and have been following its development since the trial one was developed. Is there any word on APR producing the downpipe for the tiguan or am I best to go with a custom one?

Will be some time until APR have one, but it is in the works. Having investigated what is currently available on the market, my suggestion would be custom with a 200 cell metal cat. Make sure they use both exhaust hangers as per factory.

Ok cheers. What size DP is best suited for the stage 2 apr tune? 2.5 or 3" with the apr carbonio intake?

Pat, no idea - it has lots of grip & power, but it is heavy, have a fair bit of work still to do on the transmission yet. Should be somewhere in the 11's depending on getting all the above working together.

- Contact your installing APR dealer, they will run through what ever you require!

So what else are you doing to it? Is there an upgrade package for the DQ500?

Have you had it on the dyno since putting the larger turbo on?

Be interested to see what specs you have ended up with and what numbers you are getting out.

Clay, Clutches are holding up well, its the rev limit in each gear that is taking some time to overcome (as the stage 3+ kit wants 7300rpm), the rest looks promising. It's still in the calibration stage, but its getting well over 270kw @ hubs already & we are missing nearly 1000rpm. Thats on 98 ron too.
