Hey Guy, have you got an eta & price for the new carbon fibre intake for the Golf GTi/R?

Shortly - we have secured ten units from the first batch, we have not been given pricing yet - nor an ETA in Australia.

    Hi Guy

Can you please confirm the stock figure in KW? Correct me if I am wrong. 235hp = 175kw. So your stock MK7 is producing 13 more kw then the claimed 162kw (at the fly) from VW? Even the GTI Performance is claimed at 169kw (at the fly). Is your dyno chart showing figures at the wheels or at the fly?

    Thanks

APR use a hub dyno which negates the potential for slip on a roller dyno but will read slightly higher power figures due to lower losses.
It is well documented that the figures VW state at the crank are often under quoted.

Our figures work out similar to what others have measured, we are seeing 157kw stock on ours (other stock ones have been done on Mainline dynos @ ~ 160kw's too) - our take is the factory cars actually make well more than 160.
