    Hi Guy,

    Can you give us members an idea when ECU tunes will be up for the Mk7 petrol variants now that good ol USA will begin receiving their own GTi?

    APR imported their own GTI so they are nearly 7 months into development (and its a Euro Spec too) - They are aiming at the go fast range being released by middle of the year (some bits earlier). most complicated ECU yet!

    not far away now, one of my tech's was at APR this week, so he should have an update when he gets back. Good thing is we have all the current AU software versions on file that we have come across so far

    Already under way. We have had several new S3's visiting the workshop here for code extracts already. We hope to have our new Golf R in April for development.

    MK7 GTI shares nothing with the MK6 or Tiguan.

    the only interchangeable parts would be the coolant & the oil

    P.S. the turbocharger no longer has a manifold as we now know it - its all internal in the head, so forget what you knew about turbochargers on the old engines!
