HP has spent just on a year prototyping, dyno & track testing our new cold air intake system for the 1.4 TSI as mounted in the 6R Polo GTI. It's engineered it to be a direct bolt in, no-cut fit, that fits like factory in the engine bay.
We use a genuine BMC™ CDA Venturi filter, made from the highest quality Carbon Fibre to insulate from the heat. Our slip in bracket is CNC cut and bent from T304 stainless steel, then powder coated to blend with the engine bay. We use an OEM Audi hose to connect to the engine & a billet alloy air pump receptacle.
Our results speak for themselves, as used on our ground-breaking "Project Polo".
Testing Data:
35% better flow than stock (less pressure drop)
60% bigger filter surface area
Hot air feed eliminated
10 kW & 15 Nm gains at the wheels (uncorrected Dynapack)
Cost $795 including GST, about 15 minutes install time.
